I make extra white jasmine rice and freeze it in saran wrapped portions that heat up for 2 min covered in the microwave but still have all the characteristics of fresh rice! makes random unplanned meals easy

Adore this. Let me add a hot tip - any of these precooked grains can be reheated with some milk, maybe a little sweetener, maybe some grated apple or mashed banana, maybe some seeds… then you also have a hearty breakfast porridge/pudding.
